Sage Card Wallet – Chestnut

The Sage card wallet is a minimal wallet. Ideal for those who like to travel light, it is designed to carry cards, a few precious notes, and important receipts. 

The Sage is made from ten individually cut pieces of Italian veg tan leather, all sewn through with high quality Italian cotton.

An extra level of refinement is added to the Sage by lining the internal pockets with leather.  

The outside edges and corners of the Sage are worked by hand by a process known as burnishing which involves shaping and sanding the edge, a stain is then applied and the edge is worked using a burnishing tool to produce a smooth finished, the use of a stain which is absorbed into the leather rather than paint ensure the edges will age in the same way and at the same speed as the rest of the wallet preserving a uniform look.

In addition to the burnished edges a subtle tram line is scored on the pockets by hand using a traditional edge creasing tool.

As it ages the leather will develop its own unique patina.  Giving the Sage a personalised quality unique and individual to its owner.
